Nude Facial Cleansing Oil Reviews

Review of Nude Facial cleansing oil
By Nicky Boyd

Packaging: Nude Facial cleansing oil is Recyclable (100% Post Consumer Regrind!)and comes in a lilac plastic bottle with a pump in the box

Application: An oil product which you warm between hands, massage onto a dry face, apply water to form a light milk and then rinse with water

Ingredients: A mix of wonderful oils including soybean and olive oil plus essential oils which most Nude Skincare Products contain. This cleansing oil contains Vitamin E and Omega 3 which are great for the skin. Vitamin E is an antioxidant and Omega 3 is said to have great anti-aging properties. A good balance of Omegas in the body is required for general good health so I really like products that include this so I can get extra benefits from my skin care regime!

Results: Leaves skin clean of makeup and soft

Pros: Easy to use
Non-greasy
Essential oils give it a divine smell – makes you really want to use it!
No parabens, sulphates, PEGs, mineral oil and other nasties
No testing on animals
Recyclable container
Non irritating (and my eyes are very sensitive)

Cons: If you prefer using a cleansing milk without water (as I do) this probably isn’t the cleanser for you

Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser Reviews

Review of Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser
By Zainab Chagani

Packaging: Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser comes in a bottle with a pump action which dispenses the cleanser as foam. The design on the bottle is what Caudalie Products usually use, green text on a clear background. The bottle is recyclable but doesn’t mention whether or not it is made using recycled materials.

Application: The Foaming Cleanser can be used on wet or dry skin and should be washed off with water. The cleanser goes on smoothly and my skin felt very fresh once I had rinsed the cleanser off. The cleanser has an interesting smell ad although it isn’t strong or very unpleasant, it could smell better.

Ingredients: Most of the ingredients are from a natural source or origin. However, this is hard to tell as many of the ingredients are written in the INCI form without an explanation in brackets. There is also parfum listed in the ingredients which may not be suitable for very sensitive skin.

Results: The Instant Foaming Cleanser left my skin feeling fresh and clean. However, it sometimes left my skin feeling a little dry, even though I have combination skin. It also didn’t remove mascara very well so a separate eye make up remover would be required.

Pros:
A nice quick cleanser
The cleanser left skin feeling fresh and clean
The cleanser had mostly natural ingredients.

Cons:
My skin was left feeling tight
It didn’t remove mascara
It was hard to understand the origin of some ingredients
