Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Cream

Review of Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Cream for Sensitive Skin
by Sandra C.
Packaging
I found the Pai chamomile & rosehip cream from a beauty blog and read many positive reviews about it. So I gave it a go and I’m so happy that I got it. This cream comes in a transparent glass bottle with a pump dispenser inside a recyclable box. It is a very clean and neat design.
Application
The texture of the chamomile & rosehip cream is very silky and it glides easily on my face without feeling sticky. I was so impressed the moment I put the cream on my face after a long day out in the sun or wind, it did not irritate or sting at all. Instead, it calmed my face immediately. I can’t praise it enough especially if you have experienced the burning pain of putting chemically-loaded face cream on your dry and chapped skin. It was absorbed quickly, leaving my skin feeling very soft with a dewy appearance. My skin can become oily on the T-zone area and extremely dry on the cheeks and around my mouth. But this cream corrected that problem and the good thing is it also sat well underneath makeup without making blocking the pores.
Ingredients
What I am really delighted with Pai skincare is that they are preservative free. Although they products have a short shelf life (6 months), I have no problem with that as you probably will finish the bottle in two months. I trust the Pai skin care line as they are certified by the Soil Association and have none of the harsh chemicals, parabens, phenoxyethanol, alcohol, fragrance or petrochemicals which can cause allergies. The ingredients label is straightforward, shown in Latin and English so that you know what exactly they are. They are rich in anti-oxidants and Omega 3 & 6, well known for its anti-aging benefits, while the chamomile and rosehip soothe and protect sensitive skin.
Result
After using the Pai cream, I haven’t got any rash or flaky skin. Although it is quite expensive for a 30ml bottle of face cream, it saves all the money and hassles going to dermatologists. I will definitely buy it again.
Pros:
It soothes my skin so well that I have not had any allergies ever since.
It is so hydrating and nourishes my skin throughout the day.
It is excellent for sensitive skin, especially if your skin is a little bit oily on the T-zone but dry on the cheeks.
Cons:
The smell is a bit strong and it takes a while to disappear.
The cream is dried and stuck at the tip of the pump which could be quite annoying.
I have to use a cotton bud to scrape the cream in the bottom because the pump doesn’t reach low enough.
