Juice Beauty Repair Moisturiser Reviews

Review of Juice Beauty Green Apple Repair Moisturiser
By Kelly B.

Packaging The
Juice Beauty Green Apple Repair Moisturiser comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a pump dispenser in a cardboard recyclable box. Both the bottle and box have a white background with black writing and a green apple logo which collectively look a little cheap. The bottle in particular looks like inexpensive plastic and cracks appeared down the lid after around four uses. I feel this really lets the product down.

On the plus side the bottle is extremely light so would be ideal for travelling. I like the hygiene of using a pump dispenser and the slim bottle is very ergonomic and easy to use. The bottle and box are loaded with very helpful information about the product, ingredients, company and instructions for use along with an enclosed leaflet.

Application The texture of the Juice Beauty Green Apple Repair Moisturiser is very fluid and easy to apply. It doesn’t look much in volume when it is dispensed so initially I used four pumps which was far too much as it spreads so well. Two pumps of the dispenser comfortably cover face and neck. The cream looks shiny (even a little greasy) on the skin and it is very slightly sticky to the touch (but then apple juice is its main ingredient). It doesn’t seem to absorb completely into the skin which is why it feels a little greasy. The first time I used it I experienced a little skin itching which I believe was due to the high fruit juice content but when I decreased the amount applied I had no further itching.

The scent of
Juice Beauty Repair Moisturiser is like apple cider and sweet tropical fruit. I didn’t like the smell but it did fade very quickly so it didn’t matter. Juice Beauty Green Apple Repair Moisturiser is fine to use as a make up base but due to the slight stickiness I chose to use it mainly as a night cream. It works well as a night cream as it gives impressive results with only a small amount of product.

Ingredients Despite the inexpensive looking packaging, where ingredients are concerned it seems Juice Beauty have spared no expense. All Juice Beauty products are made from organic ingredients which is great but it seems they go a step further than other companies in that the base for their organic ingredients is organic fruit juice. This makes their total organic content up to 95%. Apparently (according to the enclosed leaflet) most organic skincare uses only a few organic ingredients in a water base, which can make such products only 5% organic with the water base making up the other 95%.

It’s no wonder Juice Beauty Green Apple Repair Moisturiser is so antioxidant rich with such a nutrient dense base! The main ingredient is apple juice followed by lemon juice. The natural fruit acids in these organic juices providing exfoliating, brightening, and anti-aging benefits. Sugar cane, again a natural exfoliant. Aloe vera leaf juice, a known anti-inflammatory with soothing, healing and anti-aging properties. Cucumber juice, a fantastic natural inflammatory and skin soother. Shea butter; honey; linseed, borage and jojoba oils for their fantastic moisturising properties.

This powerful organic moisturiser also contains age defying peptides, alpha lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10 and a brightening hydroxy acid complex. The powerful fruit acids and skin brightening ingredients in Juice Beauty Green Apple Repair Moisturiser are balanced with skin soothers and moisturisers to ensure an impressive result whilst protecting sensitive skin.

Importantly all
Juice Beauty products are free from harmful toxic ingredients such as parabens, propylene or butylene glycols, petroleum, sulphates, PEGS, TEA, DEA, phthalates, GMO, silicones, pesticides, artificial dyes or fragrances. Plus no animal testing.

Results I am really pleased with the results of Juice Beauty Green Apple Repair Moisturiser. After one application there is a noticeable glow to the skin. After four to five applications I noticed fine line reduction and a tightening and firming effect. My skin felt so silky soft to the touch and it definitely took away some skin redness too. Each day (after nightly application) the effects increased to the point that each morning after a shower my face looked smoother, softer, tighter and more glowing.

Despite the fact that I am not keen on the slight sticky texture and quite greasy look of this organic moisturiser, it is fine as a night cream. You only need a little and importantly Juice Beauty Green Apple Repair Moisturiser works! The exfoliating effects of the fruit acids and the soothing natural moisturising ingredients combine to give your skin a silky soft finish and a dewy glow.
