Pai Anti Ageing Eye Cream Review

Review Of Pai Anti Ageing Eye Cream
By Catherine J.

Packaging: The Pai Anti Ageing Eye Cream comes in a plastic pump dispenser tube with the attractive Pai logo on the front. It is a handy size for a wash bag and would be great when travelling.

Application: As the Pai Echium – Anti-Ageing Eye Cream was in a pump dispenser it was really easy to get out of the tube and is much more hygienic than putting your finger into a pot of eye cream every day. The cream is very rich and you only need a tiny amount to dot around the delicate eye area. It took me a few days to get the right amount as initially I used far too much but once I had worked out how much to use I didn’t waste any! As you only use a small amount the tube will last a long time.

.

Ingredients: Pai Echium – Anti-Ageing Eye Cream is completely free of all chemicals and does not contain alcohol or chemical preservatives. It is rich in Gamma Linolenic Acid and Stearidonic Acid, which are naturally occurring ingredients with proven anti-ageing properties

The Pai organic skin care range is certified organic by the Soil Association and the Pai Echium – Anti-Ageing Eye Cream is suitable for Vegans

Results: I have used other Pai products but had never tried the anti ageing eye cream so I was really pleased to be trying this. Pai products always have lovely fragrances and as they are completely free of chemicals they are good for my skin too. After using Pai Echium – Anti-Ageing Eye Cream for a month I was really pleased with the results as the delicate skin under my eyes feels firmer and it has definitely smoothed the fine lines around my eyes. I will definitely be buying this eye cream again.

Pros:

Smells lovely

100% natural

Made in the UK

Good for sensitive skin

A'kin Rose Day Creme Review

Review of A'kin Rose Day Creme
By Gillian L.

Packaging - The A'kin Rose Antioxidant day cream 50ml comes in a recyclable plastic tub, in a box, which is light and easy to pack and ideal for air travel.

Application - A'kin Rose Antioxidant Day Creme is light, but rich anti -oxidant day cream is described as “anti- wrinkle “ moisturiser for all skin types. Apply to cleansed and toned skin with gentle circular motion. It is ideal as a make up base.

Ingredients -A’Kin products are produced in Australia from the finest natural ingredients. All ingredients are certified organic (where possible) and are 100% natural, vegan and not tested on animals. It is a l light but very moisturising formula containing essential oils, anti -oxidants and vitamins. The active ingredients include vitamins A,B5, C and E and omega 3,6 and 9 essential fatty acids ,jojoba seed oil, olive oil ,avocado oil and rose oil. The rose oil gives it a wonderful delicate, summery scent.

Results - I have combination skin which is also very chemically sensitive and I can only use essential oils in face products, so often tend to use unscented products. Akin
Rose Antioxidant Day cream is a great find as it is delicately scented without being overpowering or irritating. It applied easily although it did leave a tacky residue for 10mins or so, but this may have been because my skin isn’t particularly dry. I also used it on my hands with excellent results. The cream left my skin feeling silky soft ,smooth and supple and the scent was very theraputic.I have never before been asked what I use on my face, but a friend commented it was glowing! I love this product and will certainly be stocking up ,once finished.

Pros -
Gorgeous scent but suitable for sensitive skins
- Ethically sound ,pure ,organic and vegan ingredients - Excellent value for money. I would estimate the tub to last 4 - 6 months at least.

Cons - the only drawback is the plastic packaging which means that the essential oils will not keep as long. I don’t see a product shelf life on the packaging but similar products in plastic containers have short shelf lives. The white and blue lettering is fine but the black top spoils the packaging.

Weleda Baby Face Cream Reviews

Reviews of Weleda Baby Calendula Face Cream
By Anisa B.

Weleda Baby Face cream comes in a 50ml yellow metal tube and ret
ails for £6.50 at Naturisimo. The product is easy to dispense and is hygienic as well. The texture of this cream is thick and is cream in colour. It blends like other creams but not as easily as some as it doesn’t have as much ‘slip’ – I think this might be due to beeswax being one of the ingredients. Once dispensed, you can smell the calendula and it is a lovely soothing aroma, nothing that is too strong or irritable.

Weleda says: Soothing biodynamic and organic calendula flower extract is known for its gentle antiseptic properties that calm inflammation and wrap your child in a layer of warmth, like a loving hug. The essential fatty acids in abase of sweet almond oil and beeswax are easily absorbed to enhance and maintain precious, natural moisture. Your baby's delicate face is nurtured and protected from skin-damaging environmental influences. That will put a smile on your baby's beautiful face—and yours, too.

The ingredients in this cream are all natural and are good for the skin.
I’ve been using Weleda Baby Calendula Face Cream on myself and my toddler just to see how this works on both of us. On me, I didn’t particularly like it as I feel it wasn’t hydrating enough, the fact that it doesn’t have enough ‘slip’ makes it feel like its sitting on my skin and I don’t like that feeling in a moisturiser. I did notice that sometimes it did feel a little bit on the greasy side aswell.

However, on my toddler, it worked well. Her skin has been well moisturised and she hasn’t had any dryness or irritation since using it. Overall, I don’t feel it is an essential buy for either an adult or a baby even though I do like the smell and ingredients as I think there is something that is lacking that would stop me from purchasing.

The pros of this cream are: - Smells nice - Affordable - Good ingredients - Hygienic packaging that is portable too - Works for babies’ face

The cons are: - Not enough slip in the blend ability - Can feel greasy - Does not feel hydrating enough

Weleda Iris Facial Toner Reviews

Reviews of Weleda Iris Facial Toner
By Irene M.

Packaging: Weleda Iris Facial Toner comes in a beautiful blue glass bottle, the sides of which are perfectly shaped to fit in the palm of the hand. A brilliant design. Product information labels on the front and back are the colour of pale blue Iris and the print is in the colours of blue Iris and green.

Application: After cleansing, just two or three splashes of Weleda Iris Facial Toner applied to a damp cotton wool pad are all that is required to cover the face, neck and chest areas.

Ingredients: Witch hazel, lemon juice and naturally fragrant essential oils are the chief ingredients of Weleda Iris Facial Toner, formulated to help restore the skin’s natural acid/alkali balance, without drying.

Results: Formulated to purify and refresh, this gorgeously fragranced, gentle toner is a delight to use. Having an excessively dry skin and gaining instant headaches from many fragranced products, I was initially very apprehensive about using the Weleda Toner, fearing that a combination of witch hazel, lemon juice and essential oils would spell disaster for my dry and sensitive skin. However, all my worries proved groundless. Weleda Iris Facial Toner is an extremely gentle product which left my skin feeling refreshingly toned.

Pros:

An extremely gentle facial toner.

Gorgeously fragranced.

Extremely economical in use – very good value for money.

Cons:

An extremely sensitive skin may benefit from a little extra moisturizer after toning with this product.

Organic Apoteke Eye Cream Reviews

Review of Organic Apoteke Rejuvenating Eye Cream
by Joanna E.

Packaging: The Organic Apoteke Rejuvenating Eye Cream comes in a glass bottle with a plastic pump fitting and lid, all of which are recyclable. The Organic Apoteke logo is a tiny discreet one and the black printing makes for a very neat appearance.
Application: The Organic Apoteke eye cream has a lovely silky smooth texture and is quite runny which makes it very easy to apply. The pump yields very well to gentle pressure, making it easy to measure out the tiny amount of cream that you need. It is a gentle cream colour which I found blended quickly into the eye area, and was absorbed impressively quickly into my skin leaving it really soft. There was no stickiness or greasiness remaining on my skin after the cream had been absorbed. The skin around my eyes can be quite sensitive, but I had no problems with this cream at all and after using it once each day for a couple of weeks, not only do I have soft skin but I also seem to have fewer fine lines around my eyes, which is always a bonus!

Ingredients: I love the fact that all the ingredients Organic Apoteke uses in their products are either vegetarian or vegan friendly. There are no animal ingredients used, no synthetic additives nor any of the harsh chemicals such as parabens, just natural and organically certified ingredients. The list for the Organic Apoteke Eye Cream is an impressive one, with oils and butters of sunflower, almond, coconut, shea and carrot all of which are excellent for the skin, having very enriching properties. The whole is gently scented with rose and some thought has obviously gone into putting the best ingredients together to create an eye cream that does what it sets out to do. As no harsh chemicals are used, Organic Apoteke Eye Cream does have a limited life of 6 months, which is no problem as using it every day means that the 15ml bottle would last less than the 6 months. I also like the fact there is an expiry date on the base of the bottle.

Results: By using Organic Apoteke Eye Cream once every day for a couple of weeks, there is a definite difference in the softness of the skin around my eyes and also a few less tiny lines. The cream is priced very reasonably and for the tiny amount used each day certainly represents good value for money, especially with all the excellent ingredients it contains.

Pros:
Absorbs well into the skin, leaving no residue
Improves the skin around the eyes
Lovely subtle aroma
Excellent ingredients

Cons:
Can’t really think of any but the tip of the pump could get a bit dried up if you didn’t use it for a while.
