Weleda Baby Face cream comes in a 50ml yellow metal tube and ret
ails for £6.50 at Naturisimo. The product is easy to dispense and is hygienic as well. The texture of this cream is thick and is cream in colour. It blends like other creams but not as easily as some as it doesn’t have as much ‘slip’ – I think this might be due to beeswax being one of the ingredients. Once dispensed, you can smell the calendula and it is a lovely soothing aroma, nothing that is too strong or irritable.

The ingredients in this cream are all natural and are good for the skin. I’ve been using Weleda Baby Calendula Face Cream on myself and my toddler just to see how this works on both of us. On me, I didn’t particularly like it as I feel it wasn’t hydrating enough, the fact that it doesn’t have enough ‘slip’ makes it feel like its sitting on my skin and I don’t like that feeling in a moisturiser. I did notice that sometimes it did feel a little bit on the greasy side aswell.
However, on my toddler, it worked well. Her skin has been well moisturised and she hasn’t had any dryness or irritation since using it. Overall, I don’t feel it is an essential buy for either an adult or a baby even though I do like the smell and ingredients as I think there is something that is lacking that would stop me from purchasing.

The cons are: - Not enough slip in the blend ability - Can feel greasy - Does not feel hydrating enough
